Firstly, I want to thank you for being such an inspirational person – as you have made a valuable contribution to my life already.

I admire you for having the guts to stand up and make a difference – and in the process change so many people’s life for the better. I’m a mentoring student of yours as well as many of your other courses as I see the incredible value I get out of it – please keep up your good work!

The wealth of knowledge you have is incredible, and I appreciate the fact that you are willing to share it – and also to keep on learning and growing.

When I received the invitation from you and Leon to participate in the Build-a-Web beginner’s course, I did not think twice to get involved immediately.

The reasons for this were simple: - I have not been disappointed in any of your courses before - Obtaining web design skills is very valuable, as the internet is a very powerful tool to utilize today - I have tried another product that would supposedly do the same thing (found it on the internet), but failed miserably -

My university studies with regard to web site design just left me confused - I knew it would be practical and empower me to take responsibility from the word go, without wasting my time with irrelevant nonsense

This was something I was looking for quite some time as I realized the value of web sites in any business – it just puts you in a total different league. You instantly have the ability to get local, national as well as global exposure for your business as well as the effectiveness of automating a lot of the business functions – but if I have to discuss all the advantages of websites, it will fill a whole book.

So, did Build-a-Web live up to your normal high standards, and did it achieve its goal? – Again the answer is simple – absolutely!

At this point I would like to thank Leon – your partner in this endeavor – for his great service.

Whenever we had questions, he would answer it timely and in such a way that it was clear as well as sharing his knowledge with regards to the technology and tools used to make all of this possible. Sure there were some hiccups, but this was attended to and am I convinced that this will evolve into another amazing course from Hannes Dreyer.

This course was successful because of the following reasons: -

• It was kept simple enough in order not to confuse or de-motivate non IT skilled people
• The amount of information was not over whelming – just enough to absorb (especially for beginners)
• The opportunity given to participate in the exercises made it practical and also helped to re-enforce the theory supplied
• The movie clips was made in such a way that it created a positive atmosphere as well as the feeling of being engaged with directly
• It was not impersonal

All in all it was a wonderful experience to have been involved with, and I’m very proud of my new skills that I obtained – and my website stands as proof of this.

I still can’t believe how much you can achieve on the net with just the beginners course’s knowledge.
